2nd/3rd Multiage Grade
Hello and welcome to the Multi-Age Classroom at St. Mary’s School. My name is Thomas Alzo and I am the Multi-Age (Grades 2 & 3) Teacher.
I have a B.A. in Sociology from The Ohio State University and a M.S.T. in Childhood Education from SUNY Potsdam. I have been involved in a variety of roles at different schools throughout the North Country over the past few years, including teaching Physical Education and Student Teaching here at St. Mary’s.
In the classroom I approach teaching and learning in ways that help students develop confidence in themselves and a passion for learning. I like to incorporate music in the classroom any way I can while also providing students with hands on learning activities founded in the arts to provide a rich educational experience. When not teaching, I also enjoy playing a variety of sports and musical instruments. I look forward to sharing these interests with my students and learning what areas of interest they bring to our classroom.
I look forward to seeing you around St. Mary’s School. If you have any questions or would like to contact me, please feel free to do so at SMSMultiage@twcny.rr.com.
